"NOVEMBER TO REMEMBER"
- The Slick Bridges Perpetual Trophy -
This weekend hounds will be running for a beautiful bronze trophy, in
memory of Sergio Cortella's Greyhound "Slick," which Sergio Cortella
donated and which has now become BASHA's First Perpetual Trophy. The
trophy will be awarded annually to the hound that competes both days,
defeats the most hounds over both days and wins BOB on at least one
day. A tie will be decided in favor of the hound that won BOB on both
days, then based on the highest point total over both days, and then
based on the highest pre-race meet WAVE.

SCHOOLING RUNS:
All hounds that have not previously raced or lure coursed with
competition, must successfully complete a schooling run with another
hound of the same breed without committing an intentional foul in
order to qualify to compete in the race meet. Schooling runs will be
conducted prior to the race meet only for hounds that expect to enter
the race meet that day. We will hold practice runs for hounds not
entered in between programs or after the race meet on Saturday, time
permitting.
